I recently wrapped up an incredible 2-day workshop for the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) in Port Vila, Vanuatu with 30 inspiring women from 14 different Pacific Islands. The participants were deeply engaged, embracing the diversity in the room with respect and enthusiasm. I was energized by their active participation, especially during the skill-building activities, which they practiced with such passion. The intersection of culture and gender made the learning experience highly relevant and enriching for everyone involved. Their feedback and support for one another truly made my long journey to Vanuatu profoundly rewarding and inspiring.

Another exciting milestone: I’ve now traveled to and worked in 98 countries, with Vanuatu and Fiji being my latest additions. I’m looking forward to reaching 100 in 2025!
